RESEARCH: SHORT FILM POSTERS
To gain ideas for my own short film poster I looked into other film posters with the same genre as the one my partner and I are creating ('chick flick/ female led teen romance). This really helped me as I have now had a look at different styles, colours and layouts.
It is sensible to study posters from the genre of your own film. You should now make initial observations on the texts, for example, are there generic characteristics? For example, in colour, image, placement of text, framing of character, type of fonts? Then draw attention to the institutional information and the way that audiences are attracted and addressed.
ReplyDeleteYou have made proficient observations on a number of aspects. However, add a list in bullet points of the codes and conventions that you found and that will need to be included in your own work. This needs to be more analytical.
