RESEARCH: HIGH MAINTENANCE

During class we watched a short film called 'high maintenance'. The film was unique and provided us with a twist in the story at the end that leaves the audience amazed. By watching this short film it showed me that for a successful short film it must have a strong story consisting of a beginning, middle and end, good acting and a creative plot twist. This particular short film was set in a future generation where robots had been invented to act as real life humans but can we switched off by the touch of a switch and replaced by one phone call.
I found it extremely ironic how the miss-en-scene created a romantic atmosphere, a candle lit dinner yet the sounds and dialogue portrayed a compleately different feel that it was awkward and that there was no passion at all.
